Chocolate Flowers anyone?

Wonderful variety of bouquet styled Roses
or
individual tissue flowers with chocolate centers.

Really cute idea for anyone with allergies, or chocolate lovers
that don't like the idea of fresh flowers.

Cute Rain cloud Craft for Preschoolers

I was looking for a rain cloud craft for my preschool sessions at work, and couldn't really find anything that I would be really excited to present.  So I created my own from scratch.
I think it came out quite well, and it's so cute! It should be a hit.

Colourful Book Art

A bit of a wee series I seem to be on at the moment, so I wanted to do one with colour.  This is a mixed media piece, of pen, ink, and watercolour. Heaps of fun.

The silly little poem on this one: The bike ride, cream soda please and a shared plate of sandwiches, much more appetizing.

Book Art: Set of 3

A wonderful project done for a commission and finally finished! Yay! So this is just a wee taste of some Book Art, and each piece has a wee poem highlighted throughout the page.
From top to bottom, I will type the silly wee poems.

Book art with Feather Poem:  Her dream knew that waking with a start there was warm cooking. He turned and smiled at her.  Grandma supposedly making her bed,

Book art with Swirls Poem: Holding the fort, her only concern unexpectedly kissed her cheek.  As he got involved with steak and fries and real coffee, who lived in the cities.

Book art with Leaf Poem: Close the door twice a week.  Promptly on their return was a recent acquisition.  This annual treat from Morry is most generous.

It's a fun way to incorporate meditative doodling and finding poems on a page.  I really enjoyed this project.

 Pinch Pot Cat

So in 2012 I tried my hand at pottery.  And I got to make this gorgeous pinch pot cat.

Super cute, It really needed the false eyelashes.

Like most cats, I like to call her
"meow face"

Watercolour flower

My first attempt at a watercolour flower, turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.  I have been doing a few projects, but I haven't been posting them, so I will be doing a bit of catch up.  Poem is called Remembering the aspects of love.

Chakra Cats!

2009-2011
Chakra Cats!!!

Love em', they are bright and bold and beautiful. starting with the purple-crown chakra, then the dark blue-thirdeye chakra, then the light blue-throat chakra, then the green-heart chakra, yello- solar plexus chakra, orange-sacral chakra and finally the red-base chakra. Fantastically colourful. I have also made a range of cards from these images, keep an eye out for them, i will be posting them soonish. all these cats are one series; all are A4 size. The really cool thing is, all the upper body chakra cats are above the middle line, the heart chakra, directly in the middle and the lower chakras are below the middle line. very effective when they are all lined up on the wall.

This is a Picture Book I created for a Preschool Session at the Library. It came about by realising we didn't have any Picture books about blindness (not relating to guide dogs) for the preschool aged children. I based it on my Deda (russian for grandad) Zatay, who was blind and wanted nothing to do with a guide dog. This book is aimed at the 2-4 year old preschool child about using your other senses. It is very tactile and bright with a simple message.
Windows of the Chakra......

I created this work as a thank you and a birthday present for Lyndsay.
the colours represent the chakras, and the gemstones are real. This was a real joy to create. the Mixed Media and the georgeous
colours. This peice was done in August 2009.

Butterflies.......

I created these canvas decoupage style peices for Fenya.
It was my gift to her for her birthday June 2009. I was
most excited about these peices because they actually came
out as I saw them in my head.....very exciting to any budding artist when that happens. Fenya loved them, which made them that much better.

Dolls house makeover

I am still doing stuff peoples.....its been awhile, this here is one of the latest projects, renovating a dolls house, a fun project to have done, note the wallpaper and the flooring. This was done for my wee neice Amber, she loves it, and there is a comfortable doll family living within the doors now. The curtain rails and the curtains were my creations as well.
